Fire Lake
The silvery lake enveloped the quiet power of the fire.
Her eyes could not hear the whispering steps behind her,
Yet her heart knew he was there.
Feeling the heat rise inside her, she waited.
He sat down and pulled her in close to his heart.
The moments She counted in the firey glow of each small wave
Cresting against the shoreline.
The sparks blazed from the fire,
Heating the night, yet scorching her.
His lips caressed a path from her earlope
To the thundering pulse in her neck.
A soft moan pierced the silvery glowing night.
The wind caught the fire and a storm cloud of smoke
Smote the heavens, flames licking the stars.
With intensely quiet movements his arms turned her till
She saw the fire reflected in his eyes and
His lips consumed her
